About This Place

Nashoba Brook Bakery in Concord, MA, is a delightful haven where artisan baking meets a warm, inviting atmosphere, perfectly blending the roles of bakery, breakfast spot, coffee shop, and sandwich shop. This local gem offers an impressive menu that effortlessly caters to morning cravings and midday hunger alike, making it a beloved destination for both early risers and casual diners.

The bakery’s reputation for its renowned sourdough and French breads is well-earned, with breads that boast a perfectly crispy crust and a tender, flavorful crumb. Standout items like the flaky, chocolate-covered major choc snail demonstrate their mastery of pastries, while their quiches deliver a savory richness that feels both indulgent and comforting. Customer Shu Ou’s praise of the chocolate-covered snail as "amazing" and the croissant sandwich as "excellent" perfectly captures the bakery’s knack for turning classic treats into memorable experiences.

Breakfast offerings such as the hearty Breakfast Burrito and the classic B.E.C. (bacon, egg, and cheese on sourdough) come paired with the bakery’s famous home fries, a crispy, golden side that perfectly complements the savory mains. For those who prefer a lighter start, the Avocado Toast on artisan bread offers a creamy, fresh bite, customizable with add-ons to suit every palate.

The sandwich selection is nothing short of impressive, featuring thoughtfully crafted options like the Reuben Sandwich and the Factory 152 Sandwich that balance bold flavors with fresh ingredients. Bill Nickerson raves about the Minuteman sandwich—with roast beef, jalapeño, and horseradish—that bursts with a satisfying kick, while Hesna Kara A. enjoyed the customizable Harvest Bread Sandwich, highlighting the personalized touch Nashoba Brook Bakery brings to every order.

Complementing the food is a carefully curated drink menu that features a range of hot and iced teas, including robust black teas, refreshing green options, and soothing herbal blends. The coffee selection shines with specialties like the velvety Chai Latte, smooth Soy Latte, and invigorating lavender coffee noted enthusiastically by visitors. Whether it's a rich cappuccino or a crisp iced tea, each beverage is crafted to enhance the dining experience with inviting aromas and rich textures.

Customers consistently cite the freshness of the ingredients and the welcoming service, with Bryan Doyon noting the “helpful and friendly” staff and the value in quality and quantity of their made-to-order meals. The ambiance encourages a relaxed pace to enjoy freshly baked goods and steaming cups of coffee, making it a favored stop for cyclists and locals alike, as Shu Ou mentions its popularity as a morning pit stop.

From the sweet allure of Lemon Twist Carrot Cake cupcakes with decadent chocolate ganache to the savory delights of the Smoked Salmon Breakfast and curried chicken salads, Nashoba Brook Bakery creates a carefully balanced menu that satisfies cravings and elevates simple meals into comforting culinary moments. Whether you’re craving a decadent pastry, a robust breakfast, or a hearty sandwich, this Concord bakery delivers an authentic experience that feels both indulgent and thoughtfully crafted.

The major choc covered snail is amazing. The half consumed croissant sandwich (also excellent) is for comparison. Seems to be a favorite stopping point for cyclists in the morning.

We visited Nashoba Brook Bakery today and really enjoyed it! The sourdough breads are very famous, and I had the Harvest Bread Sandwich ( you can actually customise your sandwich) was delicious and came with a pickle on the side. The lavender coffee is also so tasty.

Great Bakery and even better sandwiches. Had the minuteman today, roast beef, jalapeño, horseradish with an extra side of pickles. Love the real Coca-Cola.

A great bakery and coffee show with delicious food. We stopped for some takeout and got a breakfast sandwich and a curried chicken salad along with coffee. Everything was fresh and delicious and the staff was helpful and friendly. It took a few minutes since it was all made to order but well worth a short wait. Everything was delicious and a great value for the quality and quantity. There is plenty of seating indoors with tables and chairs. This is a great option for breakfast or lunch in the area.
